Agencies: This Site is focused on exposing the flaws in the legislation, the failures and misconduct by agencies in the performance of legislated obligations to requests for information. As such, misconduct and oft times actual abuse of the legislation by agency personnel, will be highlighted. The public is urged to speak out on both issues.
IPC: The Information & Privacy Commissioner (IPC) is often viewed as biased towards agencies by the exclusive presentations and direct agency access it facilitates. How can the public have confidence in the IPC as a result?
NCAT: The NSW Civil & Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) is very often viewed as biased towards agencies, with a long record of harsh decisions against those endeavouring to exercise fundamental legal rights. Confidential sessions are made available to agencies but denied the public, leaving the process open to corruption, particularly as hidden evidence is not usually tested in open court. Yes, the NCAT operates like a court! How can the public have confidence in the NCAT as a result?
